Group Retreats
Church, Civic, Business,
Education Groups Welcome!

Group retreats are available to area businesses, organizations, schools, civic or church groups and are a great way to promote teambuilding.

Among the unspoiled ravines, creeks, hills and sheltering trees of our property are located a variety of multi-use buildings, including log cabins, a firestation/meeting hall, a dining room and full-service kitchen, dormitories, campfire sites, a replica fort, outdoor chapel and treehouse. Hiking trails traverse the property and wildlife is in abundance. Our tranquil, natural setting is an excellent complement to any program. The camp's 172 wooded acres are beautiful in all seasons.

Dormitories, cabins and the main lodge are equipped with restroom and shower facilities and are winterized for year-round comfort. Some private rooms are available for leadership staff. Each of our rustic log cabins and dormitories can comfortably sleep up to 50 participants (200 total) and the dining hall can seat 200 people. (see photos and descriptions by clicking on link at left)

Retreats, family gatherings, educational programs, and seminars of almost any size can be accommodated with or without meal service for one, two, or more nights, during the Fall, Winter, Spring and late Summer months (from August through May.) Facilities are available for rental only, or with on-site programming, including optional Climbing Wall, Challenge/Low Ropes & Adventure Programs (see details below.) A variety of recreational activities are also available seasonally to fit your interests.

Horseback Riding Program

A western horseback riding program is now available at Hiram House at the "Double H Ranch", the camp's new Equestrian Center, which opened in 2003.

The center has a 9,700 sq. ft. indoor riding arena, a 4,500 sq. ft. stable (eleven box stalls) and an outdoor riding arena.

Horseback riding and instruction programs (ring riding only - no trail riding) are available as part of the Summer Camps and to area schools and community organizations.
